About Exhibiting & Trading at Radiate Windrush Festival
Radiate Windrush Festival is a grass-roots celebration of National Windrush Day a beautiful representation of an explosion of colourful, creative & resilient migrating Communities from the Caribbean.
Created in 2018, this festival predominantly acknowledges the legacy of the Windrush Era migration, honours its pioneers & celebrates the many generations of Caribbean British descendants with their Creole creations & African roots. As part of National Windrush Day, the entire festival sets out to highlight the richness of culture, the strength of community life, the value of family & the colourful impact of migration since the 1948 arrival of the Empire Windrush to Tilbury Docks.
As Traders & Exhibitors both large & small, you will be taking part in a lively colourful festival of heritage & culture from past to present day. A fun family-focused, multi-generational event in the great outdoors we bring the opportunity to connect with real people in a large open space of celebration & information where visitors can feel relaxed.
